Our life-changing journey began when the Group’s chairman, Paras Ram Somani, registered himself as a member of the Calcutta Stock Exchange in 1960. He later went on to acquire the membership of NSE and took over the management of Eureka in 1997. Somani’s aim was to provide customers with the benefit of trading in the NSE, recognizing the potential of the stock market at an early stage. He went on to achieve these goals by making Eureka a powerful player with a wider base and stock options.
