NIO's Onvo Brand to Launch Family-use Smart Battery SUV Next Wed, Benchmarking Against Tesla Model Y

NIO-SW (09866.HK) -0.600 (-1.422%) Short selling $103.96M; Ratio 52.193% (NIO.US) announced at the roll-off ceremony of its 500,000th mass production car that its second brand, Onvo, will launch its first model “Onvo L60” on the International Day of Families next Wednesday (15 May), targeting the mainstream family market.
It is learnt that Onvo L60 will benchmark against Tesla's (TSLA.US) Model Y, focusing on the RMB250,000-grade family-use smart battery-electric SUV market. Onvo L60 will be priced between RMB200,000 and RMB300,000.
