HKEX (00388.HK) to Introduce Weekly Stock Options Contracts for 10 HK Stocks, ETA End-2024

　　HKEX (00388.HK) -8.000 (-3.008%) Short selling $98.39M; Ratio 5.608% announced that it will introduce weekly single stock options contracts for 10 Hong Kong-listed equities, giving investors even more choices to manage risks and execute trading strategies. The exchange plans to launch these new weekly options by the end of 2024, subject to market readiness and regulatory approval.

　　Brian Roberts, HKEX Head of Equities Product Development, commented that the bourse is delighted to introduce weekly stock options later in the year. The new additions will add to the attractiveness and diversity of HKEX's derivatives market, further supporting investors‘ risk management needs. HKEX will remain committed to continuously enhancing its product lineup and further developing its markets, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as Asias leading derivatives trading and risk management hub.
