Strategic Equities Corporation

Our story started when Mr. Roberto Z. Lorayes, “Choy” as he is fondly called, embarked on an entrepreneurial venture of stock brokering in November 1993 together with some of his school friends to partner with Kim Eng Securities of Singapore. The partnership ended due to the economic crisis that faced the Philippines which did not spare the Philippine Stock Market in the 90’s. In 1999, the corporate name Strategic Equities Corporation was established. Our terms of payment for buying and selling of stocks have to be settled within the settlement period provided by the Exchange or the Clearing Agency, or as may be prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
